Bruno Jactel

Dr. Jactel was appointed as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) in January, 2013. He spent 12 years at Merial Limited, the US$2.6 billion revenue generating Animal Health subsidiary of the Sanofi Group, most recently as combined Chief Strategy Officer and Chief Marketing Officer. As Head of commercial operations in Europe, Dr. Jactel developed successful growth strategies in both OTC and professional channels. He was further responsible for global marketing, brand management, enterprise and franchise strategy, in addition to being a co-chair on the R&D steering committee. During this time, Merial built the most successful consumer brand in animal health history with FRONTLINE (Flea and tick product for pets) reaching $1billion in annual revenue in 2009.

Before working at Merial, Dr. Jactel was Deputy Minister for Economic and Commercial Affairs at the French Embassy in Washington D.C. Prior to that, he was Assistant Professor at National Veterinary School of Alfort, Paris. He is also a recent founder and board member of Hypercell Technologies LLC, an early-stage biotech company developing therapeutic solutions to serious infectious animal diseases. Dr. Jactel is a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine and has a Masters in Economic Sciences from the Sorbonne University in Paris.

He is a member of the Board of Advisors of the Raleigh Chamber of Commerce and is a Board member of the Veterinary School in Paris.

Mr. Phillips was appointed Head of Legal and Regulatory Affairs in August, 2013. In this capacity, Mr. Phillips supports the Company's legal and regulatory affairs initiatives, including the management of the Company's global intellectual property and product registration portfolios. He also serves as the Company Secretary, ensuring corporate compliance and promoting shareholder relations.

Mr. Phillips earned a J.D. from North Carolina Central University School of Law and a B.S. in Biology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He is a registered patent attorney, licensed to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office. Prior to joining the Company in 2011, Mr. Phillips worked in private practice, counseling clients on intellectual property matters in the life science, biotech, and pharmaceutical arts. He is active in the North Carolina Bar Association, and was recently appointed to the Patent Pro Bono Task Force, which will work with the USPTO to provide free patent services to qualifying clients in North Carolina, Virginia, South Carolina and Tennessee.

Ms. Guiffre joined TyraTech in February, 2008 with over 25 years of experience in Human Resources, training and business management. She is responsible for all Human Resource & Administration functions at the Company. Prior to joining TyraTech, Ms. Guiffre served as Regional Human Resources Manager for Dobson Communications Corporation for seven years before moving to Florida in 2005 to direct the human resources activities at Omega Air Holdings international cargo airline operations in Ft. Lauderdale.

Ms. Guiffre is a graduate of the University of Hartford, where she earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree with a minor in psychology. She has been a Professional Member of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) for over 13 years and has devoted much of her personal time to studies in Indigenous American tribal art & culture, along with tribal government advocacy efforts and volunteer support work for impoverished people on reservations.

 
Ron Hatton

Mr. Hatton was appointed Director of Operations in March, 2014. He brings over 20 years of experience in the product commercialization cycle, including materials procurement, manufacturing, logistics and warehousing to his new role directing the Supply Chain and Manufacturing activities at TyraTech.

Mr. Hatton began his career as a design engineer with Chevron Chemical Company, transitioning to the Solaris Group of Monsanto Company as part of the Chevron sale of the Ortho business. In 1998, Mr. Hatton joined Bayer CropScience to launch the Bayer Advanced consumer business, where he led supply chain activities, production planning, warehousing, customer service and information systems interface. After facilitating a successful launch, he became Environmental Science Supply Chain Director at Bayer CropScience, overseeing both Consumer and Professional businesses.

Mr. Hatton holds a BS in Chemical Engineering from Case Western Reserve University and an MBA from St. Mary's college in Moraga, CA.

 
Jason Schmidt

Mr. Schmidt joined the Company in July, 2007 and has been key in the product development advances made at TyraTech, Inc., leading to his appointment as Director of Research & Development in August, 2013. Mr. Schmidt has more than 10 years of professional experience in applied entomology and early to late stage product development. He was instrumental in developing TyraTech's first EPA-exempt products.

Listed as an inventor on several patent applications for novel pediculicides, insecticides, and insect repellents, Mr. Schmidt's work is also published on subjects ranging from insect taxonomy and biodiversity to control and prevention of insects, ticks, and diseases.

Mr. Schmidt holds a M.S. in Entomology Taxonomy/Systematics and a B.S. in Zoology from Colorado State University. He was an ORISE post-graduate fellow with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, performing research to identify natural product compositions for the control and repellency of vector arthropods and the prevention of Lyme disease. He is an active member of the Entomological Society of America and the National Pest Management Association.

 
Amanda Sicvol

Ms. Sicvol was appointed Director of Marketing in December, 2014. She brings over 8 years of experience in consumer packaged goods, including brand marketing and strategy, product innovation, and commercialization.

Amanda joined Burt's Bees in 2007 shortly before they became part of the Clorox portfolio in late 2007, where she held increasing marketing responsibilities. As a global brand manager driving innovation, brand strategy, advertising and promotion for the Lip category, she was instrumental in Burt's Bees' expansion into Lip Color capitalizing on the success of the brand in natural lip care.

Amanda began her career as a business analyst and project manager in healthcare information technology and systems administration with Partners Healthcare and BlueCross BlueShield of MA in Boston, MA. With her passion for business process improvement, she was instrumental in launching Burt's Bees e-commerce platform and implementing a warehouse management system for manufacturing and distribution.

Ms. Sicvol holds a JD and an MBA from the Case Western Reserve School of Law and Weatherhead School of Management in Cleveland, OH. She earned a B.A. in Political Science from Case Western Reserve University.
